Grief may shape us, but it doesn't define us. If you've found light on the other side of loss, your story can become the beacon of hope that guides someone else through their darkness.
Your Story Matters
On the Other Side of Grief is a healing anthology gathering powerful stories of loss, resilience, and renewal. Whether you’ve grieved the loss of a loved one, a relationship, your health, or a dream, these stories remind us that healing is possible and that your own journey can inspire others still searching for their way forward.
My Hope for This Anthology
Through On the Other Side of Grief, I hope to create a book that not only acknowledges the pain of grief but also shines a light on the healing, growth, and hope that follow. Grief may feel overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be the end of the story. This compilation will serve as a beacon of hope for those experiencing their darkest days, showing them that there is a way through and beyond grief. Your story could be the one that offers hope and encouragement to someone who needs it most.

Tanya Levy
Join the Journey of Healing

Meet Tanya Levy, one of the contributing authors to On the Other Side of Grief. With over three decades of experience in counselling and mental wellness support, her writing and art has been featured in inspirational books, books on writing and self-care, and she is passionate about the healing power of everyone's own learning journey.
Tanya was drawn to this project because she's working on her own book on "Gardening, Growth and Grief" and saw this as a meaningful way to explore the theme of grief. Having known Bella Rose from another group, she trusted her and knew this was an important project to be part of.
What makes Tanya's contribution especially powerful is her personal experience with loss and the kindness of others during difficult times. "I feel I was blessed to have many people, friends and strangers, step forward to help me in my times of loss and grief," she shares. "Sometimes a positive word or act of kindness was enough to help me keep moving forward. I am hoping my words and part of my healing story can help others."
Here's a delightful fun fact: Tanya has over 100 different plants growing in her garden, including 7 kinds of mint—chocolate, strawberry, ginger, apple, citrus, spearmint, and banana! She loves adding herbs to coffees, teas, food, bath products and tinctures.
About the Creatrix
Isabella "Bella" Rose
I'm Bella Rose—writer, artist, and holistic healer behind Bella Rose Healing Hands. My journey through loss and grief led me to this sacred healing path, and ultimately, to creating On the Other Side of Grief.

I hold a Bachelor's in Holistic Health Sciences and am currently in the Color of Woman Intentional Creativity Teacher Training Program. Beyond my healing practice, I'm a passionate advocate for disability rights, accessibility, and overdose awareness. When I'm not supporting others through their healing journeys, you'll find me writing, creating art, or spending time with my late father's beloved cat. To me, healing is a sacred journey back home to yourself.

The idea for On the Other Side of Grief came to me as a divine download during a therapy session while I was creating a page in my art journal. At first, I resisted the calling. But the universe had other plans. I began seeing the name Gabriel everywhere, a clear sign from Archangel Gabriel to follow this guidance. After consulting with my editor and writing coach from the Your Soulful Book program, I knew it was time to honor this sacred call.

As both creatrix and contributor to this anthology, I've spent years supporting women through grief in its many forms. This project felt like a soul call; not just to tell my own story, but to create a sacred container for healing, witnessing, and remembrance by bringing together a collection of voices. On the Other Side of Grief is the first volume in what will become the On the Other Side series, reminding us we are never alone in our pain.

Throughout the anthology, I share reflections on grief's many faces, along with several personal chapters. One focuses on grieving the life I had before a near-fatal car accident eventually left me homebound. It's a story of surrendering to the unexpected, embracing resilience, and learning to find meaning, purpose, and self-love in this new life I never imagined living.

My deepest hope is that readers will know they're not alone in their grief. That even in the darkest moments, there is hope and light—sometimes just a glimmer, but it's there. I want you to understand that grief isn't linear, there's no set timeline for healing, and despite what others may say, there is no wrong way to grieve. The right way is your own unique way.
