About

On the Other Side of Grief

On the Other Side of Grief is more than an anthology; it is a healing companion. Within its pages, you'll find tender stories, rituals, and reflections from people who have walked through loss and discovered threads of comfort, connection, and even transformation.

This is the first volume in the On the Other Side book series, brought to life by Isabella Rose and Bella Rose Healing Hands. This healing anthology gathers powerful stories of loss, resilience, and renewal from contributing authors around the world.

Whether they've grieved the loss of a loved one, a relationship, their health, or a dream, these stories remind us that healing is possible and that we are never alone on this journey. Each contributor has created something that lives beyond them, a gift of wisdom, courage, and love that becomes a guiding light for future generations.

Each chapter offers something different, a heartfelt story, a gentle practice, or an invitation to reflect, creating a book you can return to again and again, whether in the quiet of night, on a tender anniversary, or whenever your heart needs a reminder that you are not alone.

Through this book, I hope to create a beacon of hope for those experiencing their darkest days, showing them that there is a way through and beyond grief. The journeys shared within these pages carry the reminder that even in the deepest sorrow, hope can be found. These stories offer comfort, hope, and inspiration, showing that even in the deepest depths of grief, healing is possible, and transformation awaits.

Noemi Grace

Noemi is a psychotherapist, channel, and author, she brings a rare combination of clinical wisdom and soul-deep knowing to her work. She is the author of An Intimate Dialogue with God: The Miraculous Power of Unconditional Self-Love, born from years of channeling messages about unconditional self-love, words she describes as not her own, arriving during meditation as something greater moving through her.

She was drawn to this project through her own profound journey with grief. After losing her father and a dear friend to cancer in the same week, and then her mother during her own cancer treatment, she knows intimately what it means to lose yourself inside loss. Her chapter offers readers a gentle but powerful invitation to look at grief not only as pain, but as an opening, a chance to heal the soul, become more present with the people we love, and find our way back to ourselves.

What makes her contribution especially meaningful is her willingness to share what she lived through in full: the isolation, the anticipatory grief, the silence she kept even from her husband of over 30 years, and the unexpected gifts that arrived when she finally reached out and asked for help. "Grief is still part of my journey," she reflects, "but it has become a powerful force that has helped me reconnect with all of me."

Tanya Leavy

TMeet Tanya Levy, one of the contributing authors to On the Other Side of Grief. With over three decades of experience in counselling and mental wellness support, her writing and art has been featured in inspirational books, books on writing and self-care, and she is passionate about the healing power of everyone's own learning journey.

Tanya was drawn to this project because she's working on her own book on "Gardening, Growth and Grief" and saw this as a meaningful way to explore the theme of grief. Having known Bella Rose from another group, she trusted her and knew this was an important project to be part of.

What makes Tanya's contribution especially powerful is her personal experience with loss and the kindness of others during difficult times. "I feel I was blessed to have many people, friends and strangers, step forward to help me in my times of loss and grief," she shares. "Sometimes a positive word or act of kindness was enough to help me keep moving forward. I am hoping my words and part of my healing story can help others."

Here's a delightful fun fact: Tanya has over 100 different plants growing in her garden, including 7 kinds of mint—chocolate, strawberry, ginger, apple, citrus, spearmint, and banana! She loves adding herbs to coffees, teas, food, bath products and tinctures.
